It is very nice here in Hungery up until about 13:30 until about 6:30 pm when it has cooled off life and proper brain functions can return unless other wise impaired.

I am writing because yesterday I poked my nose around the crazy sports grounds until I found the Velo drome. If the excitement doesn’t come through in my writing it is just the Heat. The concrete track here is over 110 years old and 412meters long(old quarter mile) with 44°banking. I got there and lucked out that two of the young possengers who are helping to save it were hanging out on the shade just kinda looking at the beast of a thing. so after a few minutes of talking they pulled out, the one bike which may be the first of the rental fleat if all gos well, and let me take a spin. The bad news is that in the heat of the day one old school mile was all I could handle. That was enough tho for the time as I had a huge beaming smile just a big as the one which Stretched my face one day not quite a year ago at the Burnaby Velodrome when I first hit the boards.

So I have decided to stay in Budapest until at least Saturday which is the only day of the week which the track has an ‘Open practice’ slot. I don’t think it would be hard to get a key and have the track to your self any other time of the week if you took a bit of time and got involved. One other very cool thing about the track is that there are people living there. A bit weird that people live in this old building but my first thought was how do I get an apartment Here?? Just think a messenger job and a little shit ass apartment at the Velodrome, could life be any better?

P.S.  Today is now Friday and I have to decide between open practice time at the oldest track in Eu(possibly)  and water boy(including free beer) for 130 k Courier (no brakes fixie) race to a cool lake in hungry.   what the fuck do I do?
